Our family has been raising elk for more than 30 years. What started as a hobby has turned into a legacy. We have anywhere from 90 - 150 head, any given year.

Antlers Grow Fast
Bulls (male elk) shed and regrow their antlers every year. While in velvet (actively growing antler), antler can grow 1 - 2 inches EVERY DAY.

Born Ready
Elk calves (babies) are remarkably quick learners. They are born with spots, similar to baby deer and can stand within 20 minutes of being born. The elk calf pictured here is just two days old and was born in June 2026.

Caught in the Act
Bull elk (males) can weigh up to 1,100 pounds and reach speeds of 45 mph. As one of the largest cervids in the deer family, they can be quite impressive. This bull was caught trying to knock a bucket of grain out of the 4x4.
